This format should get the fastest swimmers into the meet — period. I feel like you and Braden are right with this. I guess I just needed to see the wisdom in writing. My understanding is that the answer to your questions are: yes, and no. But no qualifying uninvited individual B cuts through relays this year. I have a doubt: Is there a limit of A cuts per team? Lets say Auburn have six guys under A cut in free, all of them would be called to swim???

A relay question — The school has an A relay and a B cut relay along with invited individuals. The A relay goes, the invited individuals go…from what I read above the B cut relay is still in play here? If so, how deep do they take? Will they take every team on the B list that qualifies in this way? Flynt — nobody is invited on the basis of a B relay alone. You only get to swim a relay with a provisional standard if you also have a relay in another relay event with a Qualification Standard.

From the times in last years events that B cut better be pretty close to the A cut or there isnt much of a shot but at least you have a chance. That does seem as though it would even things out somewhat.
