How many speeds does the clarisonic have

T Timer Clarisonic Mia 2s, Arias and Pluses all come with a T-Timer to help you judge how long to use the device on each area of your face. The standard setting lasts for one minute, beeping at 20, 40 and 50 seconds. On the Mia 2, this is the only option available, but on the Aria and Plus this can be extended to two minutes. Press and hold the speed down button to return to the one minute setting. To change it again, press the button twice and hold it down until you hear beeping make sure the facial brush head is on, this will not work for the body brush head.

It has a silicone flap on the bottom of the handle which opens to reveal a micro-USB port. A USB charger is included but you will need to find a wall adapter for charging at an outlet. With a thinner handle that accommodates smaller hands, the Mia Prima turns on with one press of the power button and delivers micro-oscillations per minute. After which, the device will shut off by itself but you can pause at any time by re-pressing the power button.

The device requires approximately 18 hours to recharge and a full charge provides up to 60 uses. There is an indicator light that illuminates underneath the power button to signal you when the device requires charging. Unlike the Mia 2, the Mia Prima does not pause at specific intervals during use to indicate when you should move on to another section of the face.

This is not really a drawback in my opinion as I was never fond of that feature myself. I like to cleanse at my own pace and usually use the device for two instead of one minute. I doubt there would be much difference in the actual oscillation. Would the ultrasonic vibrations used by the Clairsonic to cleanse have the same effect on infusing products into this skin if gliding the smooth back side of the Clairsonic across the skin? I honestly have no idea!

I have just worked up to using mine 2x a day starting at the lower setting just a few times a week for my sensitive skin. My skin is much smoother and not irritated using a non foaming cleanser. I know this is an older post but I wanted to see your take on the brush. I was wondering about how Clarisonic works, too since it makes my skin so much better than before. And I stumble across one video from Clarisonic UK from many years ago.

And it demonstrate how the brush head works the same as your explanation. Thank you, Michelle for providing me a lot of deeply research information. You make my skincare journey so much clearer through all the bells and whistles. Notify me of follow-up comments by email.
